Landlord Tax Centre for Trinidad and Tobago
RentDesk TT helps landlords review recorded rent and prepare a planning estimate for the 2026 Landlord Business Surcharge. Choose a calendar quarter and use recorded payments or enter an amount manually.
How the estimate works
- Record rent payments in your RentDesk TT workspace.
- Open the Landlord Tax Centre, select a quarter and choose recorded rent or manual entry.
- Review the estimated surcharge and reconcile your records before using them for tax preparation.
The automatic total uses signed-in landlord records. It excludes deposits and demo transactions and reports invalid payments excluded from the calculation.
Understand the limits
The calculator is a planning tool, not an official assessment, proof of payment or tax filing. The surcharge estimate uses 2026 rules; exemptions, penalties, interest and the underlying annual tax assessment are not calculated. The historical property-tax example in the tool is separate and does not establish a current property-tax liability.
Tax requirements can change and depend on your circumstances. Consult the Inland Revenue Division’s Landlord Business Surcharge guidance and a qualified tax professional.
